Industrial Design

Medical & wearable hardware.
Enclosure, fit, DFM, Class I/IIa.

Services

I design products from the first concept through to documentation you can actually manufacture. Form, ergonomics and production constraints stay in the same conversation. Most of the work is with startups and R&D teams on medical devices, consumer electronics, toys and electromobility.

Product design

From brief to a resolved concept. Research, sketches, form directions, 3D models and visualisations. You get a product that is coherent and ready to develop technically, not just a good render.

Industrial design and DFM

Design shaped by material, process and cost. Geometry is built for injection moulding, thermoforming, machining, silicone or low-volume production. The aim is a form that can be made, assembled and serviced.

Medical devices

Enclosures and ergonomics for Class I and IIa equipment: skin contact, electronics modules, everyday wear. Safety, risk and certification readiness (including IEC 60601) are part of the design, so the form does not block market approval later.

Prototyping

Working and verification models: 3D prints, foam mock-ups, functional builds. Used to check grip, proportion, assembly and user contact before an expensive tool is cut.

Documentation and production support

CAD models, part breakdowns, assembly notes and direct communication with the manufacturer. I help simplify the construction, hide fixings and fit the product to the process the client has chosen.

Consultation and product strategy

Concept review, direction setting, visual language and decisions before a full project starts. Useful when you have an idea or a prototype and need a clear view of whether, and how, to proceed.

About

Industrial designer with over 16 years of experience. Graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Forms at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts. Co-founder of the now defunct design studio Vorm. Currently running his own design activity. In his professional work, he mainly deals with startups and R&D projects from such fields as medical devices, toys for children, agriculture, consumer electronics or electromobility. The work on these projects often included brand strategy, market research, industrial design, prototyping, mechanical engineering, risk management, safety and compliance with standards for different classes of devices and certification.
